What nursery managers can expect
We deliver a fun, structured programme, which captivates children’s imagination and interests, using movement, songs and props. All of our classes are theme-based and are designed to enhance children’s learning, wellbeing and engagement.
Expect your Nursery Yoga teacher to be kind, warm and fun – but also reliable and attentive. They will bring your children together each week and get to know them as people, learning their names and interests as the weeks go by. At Follow the Rainbow, we really believe that each child has something special to bring to the class.
Our managing director, Jess, will be in regular contact with you and your teacher, to ensure that the sessions are running smoothly. Our team is always open to feedback and will be happy to discuss any adjustments to best fit your nursery’s needs.
“Follow the Rainbow delivers classes at our nursery for vertically grouped children between the ages of 2 – 4 years old. The teacher is able to adapt, if necessary, to accommodate their needs and interests! Highly recommended!”

EXCELLENT Based on 162 reviews Posted on Lyubka Dushanova My son had great experience at the follow the rainbow camp. I also very much appreciated Jess and her very personalised approach both to parents and children. I recommend this camp highly and will definitely use again !Posted on Water Smart Foundation absolutely wonderful - Jess is lovely and our daughter enjoyed the camp very muchPosted on Krystel Bassil It was our daughter's first time and she enjoyed her activities very much! the following week she asked several times if Miss Jess would be playing with her in school! The daily photos and updates were also great for us to see how much fun she had!Posted on Virginie SUTTER My daughter enjoyed a lot the camp. There are several activities, yoga, meditation, drawing, games... I like the fact my kid learn a new activity and you can follow with the pictures at the end of day (if you wish). The team is very engaged and so welcoming. I would definitely recommend.Posted on Magali Hanna My 5 year old attended Follow the Rainbow summer club over the last week of August. He absolutely loved it! Jess is incredibly creative, tailoring each week to a theme with all activities associated to the theme. This naturally creates a progressively learning environment that is engaging and varied throughout - so if attending the club on different weeks there’s constantly new topics for the children to learn and engage with. Also, the activities themselves are fun and engaging! My little one was so excited to tell us each day all the activities he engaged in, and he always had something to show us when he came home. We also had an oversight of the activities on a daily basis from Jess. I am so grateful to have found this club!! Thank you Jess!!Posted on Alina Kerry Absolutely fabulous class- my kids (3 and 4) loved it so much. You certainly get your money value out of the class too- they all make amazing crafts which kids take home rather than just quick drawing- this week it was keying and aquarium which my kids made when they attended over two days. Jess is always in touch about any updates and we get about 5 photos of the day per kid. Really love it and highly recommendPosted on Angie Yuanmalai This summer, we had the pleasure of attending two weeks of Follow the Rainbow, and without a doubt, it was the highlight for my 5-year-old and her best friend, especially after attending four other different camps. She ecstatically returns home with some mermaid slime during Mermaid & Pirates week or some really impressive painting based around the Olympic rings. Jess not only provides the most stunning photo updates but also keeps us thoroughly informed about any potential concerns, whether it’s a minor nosebleed or a lack of appetite. The care and attention the children receive in their daily activities, paired with Jess’s meticulous updates, truly reflect her unwavering dedication to their growth and happiness. We are eagerly looking forward to joining her camps again very soon! P.S. The early drop-off and later pick-up options are a lifesaver for working parents!Posted on AVITAL PARTOUCHE Very good camp my son really liked it and very creative activities Thank you for this nice week 🙏Posted on Simon Young We spent two weeks at the Follow the Rainbow camp and we couldn’t recommend it more! After trying a couple during the summer, this one was our childs favourite and we were extremely pleased with the activities and the engagement with the team! Jess and her team are incredibly attentive and caring of the children. We were able to communicate with Jess and the team easily and they are very understanding our different children’s needs. There is a wide array of different activities throughout the day. We loved how they come back with something they’ve made or drawn during the day. The updates of what the kids get up to during the day is great, and the photos for the parents to see are a really nice touch and so nice for parents to be a part of in this way. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience each time!Posted on Marie BOURDIN Great camp! My son had a wonderful time with Jess, doing lots of activities and having fun. Going happily every morning and picking him up with a smile in the afternoon.
Frequently Asked Questions by Nursery Managers
Nursery Yoga is not like your usual adult yoga class! For nurseries, yoga involves fun, playful and educational movement by introducing the children to different yoga poses. We encourage children to stay longer in poses and explore how it feels it their body by using songs and nursery rhymes throughout our classes.
Yes absolutely! We adapt our sessions depending on the age range of the children in your nursery. For example, for the babies, we run shorter sessions, typically 15 to 20 minutes and keep the focus on repetition and reinforcement, using well-known nursery rhymes to accompany the movements, with lots of seated and lying down poses but also some standing poses for those babies who are ready for it.
Mindfulness helps children recognise their feelings and learn simple ways to calm their bodies and minds. By practising breathing, movement, and noticing emotions in a playful way, children are better able to manage big feelings, focus, and respond more calmly to challenges — leading to fewer meltdowns and more positive behaviour.
Nursery Yoga is very flexible and can fit into most spaces. You just need a small, safe area where children can stretch and move in. If you do not have a carpet or mat that is safe for the children to practise in, Follow the Rainbow provides 16 square foam mats that are stored in a large square Ikea bag, which is then stored at the nursery for use of the Nursery Yoga classes. Props such as rainbow scarves, cuddly toys, bubbles, etc are brought in by the teacher each week.
Yes! They support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, help focus and self-regulation, and fit easily into EYFS learning and daily routines.
