As an Early Years teacher, Greta started practicing yoga with her class back in Hong Kong before she moved to the UK. She finds yoga benefits children in many ways, especially for concentration. Children learn to focus and carefully control their breathing while practicing balancing poses.
Originally from Hong Kong, Greta trained to be a yoga teacher there, before moving to the UK where she trained as a Kids Yoga teacher.

Why did you become a Kids Yoga teacher? I am passionate about yoga and I feel how the practice benefits my body and mind. I want children to feel this positive impact too.
What do you enjoy most about it? I enjoy learning and exploring with children in my classes. Every time we learn a new yoga pose, I love the feeling that we are all working hard on something, getting better each time. I also like that we learn to step out of our comfort zone – sometimes, children may find some poses challenging and they might not want to try – it’s lovely to see them giving it a go after some encouragement.
What’s your favourite yoga pose? My favourite yoga pose is Trikonasana, triangle pose.
Aside from yoga, what else do you love? In my free time, I enjoy swimming and hiking.
According to you, what makes a really great Kids Yoga class? My goal for my classes is to have fun with the children. I love to see their happy faces and to listen to their giggles. That shows we are all having fun!
